Did you reuse the black insert from the old insulators? They are designed to
elevate the elements slightly in a gull wing in order to minimize element
droop.
When I had a 4/4 of 4el KLM's I lost some insulators on the one at 180'.
After KLM got out of the business I used the replacements from M Squared
which worked fine. I also added 2 extra spacers per half element to minimize
vibration.
