In the hardware-store variety, the Maasdam PowrPull is built reasonably well.
When the leaf spring that switches between "up" and "down" broke, they sent me
several replacements for free.
The Walmart come-a-longs are junk.
I had a LittleMule wire rope puller. This is an industrial-duty come-a-long,
and
priced accordingly. Absolutely fantastic until a spring broke.
