Hi all,
I was browsing Mr Cebik's site with an interest in constructing a
quad-loop 15M monoband antenna suspended in a tree, using #16 AWG
insulated wire.
As he points out, a rectangular shape is preferred, to slightly increase
gain and lower the feedpoint impedance to close to 50ohm.
I'm new to antenna modeling and have tried a few things in some antenna
modeling programs and the SWR and other variables are less than optimal.
Was hoping i could get some guidance from the group with regard to
coming up with an optimal design for this configuration?
I'd prefer to directly feed with a (short) run of RG58C/U and a choke.
Many thanks in advance for any assistance.
73s,
Chris.
