His goes on and off when the computer is plugged in. OTOH there should be a switch on the back of the power supply that is right in the mains. If the trash comes on and goes off with the use of this switch the location is pretty much a given. Keyboard and mouse cables? Do people still use those? <:-)) All of mine are cordless.
