I have never tried it, but in the electrical dept. of Lowe's the other
day I saw "CRC" brand sealant in a pressurized can. Red in color and
especially designed for electrical work, it presumably does not give off
any corrosive fumes. Not cheap, however: $14.xx per can (12oz., perhaps).
