Red sez it will never come loose but actually, it isn't that hard to get things
loose after being fixed with red, according to an auto mechanic in my radio
club. Blue wouldn't even hold the elements tight on a little handheld foxhunt
2m antenna that I used it on.

Subject: [TowerTalk] which type of locktite
I can't remember the 'color' of the locktite recommended to be used on tower
and antenna
bolts.
Super Strength is Red. (Never to be used as you will NEVER get them loose
again)
I know Medium Strength is Blue.
Light Strength is ?????
I can't remember if its' ???? or Blue that is the recommended level of
Lactate for
antenna/tower/rotor bolts....
I get a lot of gusty winds and usually have to tighten up twice a year during
maintenance.
