You probably want some form of Garolite. One of the cheaper versions is
Grade XX (paper based) and a 6"x6" slab 1" thick will set you back $16.18
(part # 7031K32)

I would think that if you ordered it this afternoon, you'll get it
tomorrow. McMaster Carr may not be cheapest place around, but for stuff
like this, it's pretty darn convenient.
