Concrete reaches maximum strength after a cure of about 30 days. No way I
would do anything for at least two weeks, and if the tower is loaded I would
wait the thirty days. Not a safety issue but a long term concrete integrity
issue. 73 bob de w9ge ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joe - WDØM" <WD0M@centurytel.net> To: <k2qmf@juno.com>; <towertalk@contesting.com> Sent: Sunday, November 14, 2004 11:10 AM Subject: Re: [TowerTalk] Concrete Base? Check with your concrete company and get their advice - I had 4000 psi delivered and poured, and the company recommended 24 hours to cure sufficiently - I waited 48 to be safe. No problems. _______________________________________________ See: http://www.mscomputer.com for "Self Supporting Towers", "Wireless Weather Stations", and lot's more.
