Agreed.
The original term for MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) was Nuclear Magnetic
Resonance Imaging. The Nuclear was dropped for it's negative connotation. If
you asked people whether they'd rather have a CAT scan or an NMR scan,
they'd say gimme the CAT scan (tons of ionizing radiation) rather than that
Nuclear stuff (no ionizing radiation).
If your neigbor causes trouble on this ground, remember that the local
authorities have absolutely no jurisdiction. The Federal Courts (2nd Circuit
I believe) have made that quite clear. The only jurisdiction is Federal.
