Ed,
The comments I 've seen on the SteppIR antenna are good...I can' t say a
thing against it....however, after having enjoyed my TH-11 for several
years, I don' t think you will go wrong if you go ahead with plans to
use it. It is an excellent antenna; covers all 5 bands with low swr and
outstanding performance, and is well designed and built.
Just my $ 0.02 worth.
