I have to step in here as Force 12 is getting a bum rap.
The C31XR appears to work properly "out of the box" if
one is installing it in the single feedline mode (as it
was designed). Bob 5B4AGN has installed his antenna in
the "optional" separate feedline mode and spent some
extra effort to optimize it for his own purposes.
Neither Force 12 nor any other antenna manufacturer can
afford to provide customized installation data for every
possible configuration. The antenna is plug and play
for the vast majority of users and Tom/Natan provide
"extra mile" support for many non-standard installations.
