A couple of weeks ago I borrowed a 259B and compared it with my Autek RF-1.
I thought it was quite nice and ruggedly built (at least externally).
Liked the separate R and X displays (Autek just shows Z), but was impressed
by the large battery drain. In just a litle use a fresh set of batteries
went from 15.2 volts to 14.1, which made me wonder how much life one could
expect before replacement is required.
