One more question:
Does anyone have any information on 5/8-wavelength verticals for 160
meters? [about 324 ft. high]
Using 2-meter comparisons ... seems this would be a lot better for DX.
I'm thinking of using one utilizing some VERY strong, lightweight wire
that I located. It's non-corrosive, about #20 AWG, and has a breaking
strength of approximately 300 pounds of linear pull. [sorry .. only
have 350 feet on the roll, so can't send you any!]
