Let's not get carried away Stan. Many folks get to put up towers and enjoy
them without all the dramatic hysteria!
I think the purpose of this thread is to HELP Gerry accomplish what he can
with respect to his current situation. Your completely negative post does
NOTHING to help this fellow, and only serves as a scare tactic (I don't
understand your motivation), fanning a fire we he will most likely never
have to put out.
With all due respect, running all over the map to escape from a problem
before it even exists is more than a little paranoid, especially in light of
the fact that hundreds of hams have successfully enjoyed their towers, at
their chosen homesteads, in almost every part of the country, myself
included. He is definitely NOT having a nightmare, as you put it. You have
turned his neighbor into an enemy, when, in fact, the neighbor may well turn
out to be a most valuable friend, when all is said and done.
Gerry is taking the right path to a successful outcome. He is not panicking,
nothing adverse has happened, and he has a great wealth of experienced
wisdom to call upon. Let's help him accomplish his goals.
