With rivets you shouldn't have to worry about the ends of you antenna sliding
out of joints with hose clamps.

Lessee, 30 seconds times the 110 or so rivets in a C3-S is about one
hour of rivet time, add to that looking in the manual, dropping a
few rivets, rechecking, putting NOALOX on the many sections,
rechecking, dropping a few rivets, clearing the rivet tool, checking
the manual.........
This is a LOT more time consuming than putting 24 hose clamps
(approx) on the typical tribander.
I'm not knocking the Force 12. The instructions and markings are
excellent...It just takes a little time and patience to put one
together.
