One of the real advantages of crank-up towers versus guyed towers of any type is that crank-ups can be easily cranked down to greatky decrease ( not eliminate !!) the possibilty of lightning strikes. Think ahead !! Go crankup (heavy duty!) !! 73, Warren KH6WM -- FAQ on WWW: http://www.contesting.com/towertalkfaq.html Submissions: towertalk@contesting.com Administrative requests: towertalk-REQUEST@contesting.com Problems: owner-towertalk@contesting.com Search: http://www.contesting.com/km9p/search |
