Thanks to everyone on the reflector for the recent discussion on a roof
mounted antenna vs. using a tower. I am putting up a Tri-EX LM 354 to
hold a Force 12 C4. It is a slightly mor difficut process to put the
tower up, but well worth the effort vs. the roof mounted tower.
Now..... which rotor to use? Any thoughts on Hy Gain vs. Create? I
want one that is very reliable and easy to service (or have serviced)
and get parts for. Years ago I had a Ham IV that worked great. I
understand the new Create rotors are good but how is the service ? Any
help is appreciated.
