May I suggest u get your hands on John True's (W4OQ) article on
shunt
feeding existing towers for low freq in May 1975 Ham Radio. If
u can't
locate it, send me a business size SASE and I'll sent u a
copy. It's
straighforward and easy for less than super technical
folks like us to
understand.
I use one for both 80 and 160 (two
towers) and they work great for an easy
way to get on the low bands
w/o a lot of new construction.
