Gene,
Personally I think your neighbors would be happiest if the tower is
located next to the house and centered between the side fences.
This also gives you the most room in your back yard for other things.

I'm submitting my tower plans to the city and
I just realized I need to know exactly where
I'm going to put this thing. This is my first
tower, an HDBX-48 self supporting. Per the
zoning I can only go up 50'. What advice
does anybody have on where in the back yard I
should put the tower.
Here is what my house and lot look like. The
back yard has a wooden privacy fence around it
and no trees in it. The back yard size is
73' X 80'. There are no large trees in this
neighborhood so the tower will be seen from
everywhere.
