In addition to the actual audio of a tone you're listening to, other
factors make someone into someone you understand a little. In conversations
with Ron, W4ALE, and another HS friend, Kay, WrAGI, Ron most of the time
had a friendly "swing" to his sending, it sounded like a casual friendly
conversation. And Kay's CW was friendly and precise.
And to branch out into a bit of woo woo, I've always felt that if I really
really really concentrate and put some mental emphasis into sending
something, it will get across better, not necessarily friendly, but better.
Putting yourself into the listener's place and listening to what you are
sending from their, other, viewpoint (or hearpoint) can give you an idea of
how you might sound.
Probably a lot more could be said on this topic, but it's a small audience.
