The 50 turns/5 turns transformer is specific to
the loop feed in my NCJ article. Are you cloning
my design, or adding a transformer onto some
other design?

The core I called out is much larger than would be
needed for electrical reasons, but is chosen because
the large size makes is relatively easy to wind.
(Still tedious, but not difficult).

I still have unloaded PC boards available for
$33 (incl shipping) per set which includes a
ferrite core. You can also buy the cores from
Amidon associates.

Just a question about loop matching ferrite coils......are these
available anywhere pre-wound anywhere. I wind the easy ones to match
Beverages but the 50 turns is going to be a chore.

need to find a Fair-rite 61 core
N6RK notes that Fair-Rite #43 will work fine, with slightly increased
loss. Mu is higher, so you will likely need fewer turns to get 100 uH.
#43 is much easier to find.
