Thanks to everyone who replied.
KM1H suggested the same thing, Charlie. But since I don't have certain
critical replacement parts for the amplifier and tuner (among other
things), I'm kind of afraid to run the legal limit in a contest with a high
SWR. :-)
If I can get the HV supply repaired in my HB amplifier, I plan on playing a
little in the contest later on. See you there.
