This month a beacon like CW signal appeared on 1.816 Mhz at my location (24 hours a day, 7 days a week), and yesterday with the help of my neighbor I was able to locate the source of the signal which turned out to be a bad cable (homemade) that was connected to my neighbors AT&T U-verse wireless gateway. Details of this signal including a recording of the interfering signal can be found on a simple website I created for documentation of this problem. Here is the URL of my simple website for those interested : http://sites.google.com/site/160meteruverseinterference/ 73, Don (wd8dsb) _________________ Topband Reflector |
