The only thing that is useful at this point is:

1.) location of someone with a signal that does not change very much day or night

2.) direction with some absolute certainly within a reasonable range of headings. This would require a known good small loop or multiple direction antenna system able to sort within 20-30 degrees (if close to the source).

It looks like from what we have the signal is somewhere around VA to NJ. :-)
