I made a two-wire reversible Beverage 410 feet long and it worked ok but not
much F/B ratio. I then replaced the homebrew Beverage with a DXE thinking I
had something wrong somewhere. But the DXE worked exactly the same as the
original.
The 410 foot length was chosen because of the proximity of a tree which was
in the right spot at the edge of my property.
