Hello,

I received more than a dozen private replies to this inquiry, and I deeply
appreciate all of them.

At least for this month, it appears I will temporarily have to use one of these
antennas, given the situation here:

Inverted-U (-L) antennas:
 1. K3LR:
http://lists.contesting.com/_topband/2006-12/msg00161.html
 2. ON4UN's Low Band Dxing, 4th edition
P. 9-73 figure 9-97, "AKI Special", 142' long
 3. K3MT:
http://users.erols.com/k3mt/inv_u/u_160.htm

Any comments on them would be appreciated.

Basically, I don't have trees on the hill far enough apart for the T-section,
unless I fold it back on itself and/or load it with a hi-Q coil. I'll try and
model that in EZNEC+, which I just purchased but haven't learned yet.

73,
Mike Waters
