Hi all,

Some really great postings from various of you regarding laying out of
radials - particularly like the hairgrip option (tnx K4PI!).

Have decided to opt for a 1/4 wave vertical downwire approx 8ft away from
the tower - this will be done as soon as WX improves.

Wonder whether anyone has tried using a 4 square system using for each
element approx 66 ft of vertical wire and the remaining 62ft of wire
sloping towards the centre support?

Is it worth the effort? I imagine a straight 1/4 wave will work real well
with a gold standard ground system but would be willing to go the extra
mile with a 4 square if it yields yet more gain ):
