Barry, to handle high power with a small coaxial cable, I typically use 
RG-303, and sometimes RG-400 (a variant of RG-142).  These cables can be 
found on-line in various short lengths for winding cores.  I believe RG-303 
is used in the high-power "Balun Designs" brand on the models where he does 
not use a tight conductor pair.  I've been meaning to contact them as 
another supplier to purchase RG-303 in 10-foot lengths.
