Do A/B tests with the antenna connected, switching the chokes in and out
of the circuit. Symptoms of good performance -- deeper nulls of off-axis
signals and/or less noise. Should not affect the desired signal.
BTW -- as the discussion with Carlos has suggested, it matters what the RX
antenna is and what the coupling system is. That is, a Beverage may be
more susceptible to coupling than a pennant, or a pennant may require a
higher choking impedance. And one transformer may have more stray C
between windings than another. That's why I agree with Carlos's "brute
force" solution. It's easier to do it than it is to figure out if it's
overkill. :)
