I measured the conduction (breakdown) voltage of the PolyPhaser lightning
arrestor. I didn't think correctly,
it could not be only 80 to 90 volts , than it would only handle 30 to 40 watts.
I am suprised that no one picked up
on that.
I measured the breakdown voltage and found it to be 350 volts which is 2450
watts at 50 ohms. That is
why they rate it a a maximun of 2KW.
