Pulse noise and rfi with switching supply on 160m

I thought about not writing this but then decided it might help someone else
who was having same problem as me

I was using an Aston SS-30M power supply for my Orion II for power.

Although this is a good power supply and I thought adequate for the Orion II, I
had some unusual noise on specific frequencies that really hampered marginal
signals.

Like between 1810-1819 and other areas. You know those DX areas where the dx
like to transmit.

After swapping it out with an Astron RS-35m things are a heck of a lot quieter
and the rig is functioning great.

The techies can dissect what may have been the problem but I found a simple
solution for my situation.
