Hi all,

Just incidently I saw recently in a magazine new ICs doing smart
relay-driving by energizing first and after switching reducing to
hold current. But it was for smaller (reed)relays on pcb, reducing
very much consumption. Good for TRXs if one doens't want for instance
switching diodes and related IMD issues or in automatic tuning
couplers, etc..
Wonder whether such ICs do also exist for larger relays sort of
mimicking PE1MWB's nice discrete circuit?
