I think we are all missing the point of this discussion.  Many of us
including myself have 13.8vdc available but not 24v or 26.5vdc for the
purpose of switching vacuum relays.  I use two dpdt vacuum relays in my
shunt-fed-tower matching network in order to use the antenna on more than
one band and power them from 13.8vdc as that is what I have available...it
does switch them but perhaps the "current carrying capability" has been
reduced with the lower voltage.  It has been working for 13 years at this
location in this application...de gary
