If you have a Field Stength Meter, or even a DIY sensitive milliamp meter 
and some diodes and a single turn loop of wire, key your TX a the low power 
level till you get a reading of half scale and then circumnavigate the 
radial field with the loop held close to the ground.  You should see a bump 
in level indication when you cross over a buried radial.
