Similar situation here, 20 acres, 6 beverages, a receive dipole
1/4 mile from any power lines. A few weeks ago, when DF2PY
was 599 on the east coast (per spots), I think I could tell he
was in there, but didn't copy more than a few letters. I have
a total of 2 Eu QSO's (not counting Azores, which counts as
Europe for WAC, but is not on the continent).

Last year during the CQ 160 contest, I drove out to an area with
no power line noise and listened for Europe on 160. I was only
able to heard the Azores.
