 For some reason my last post didn't format correctly.
  
  One way to attach guys to 4 or 5 inch irrigation tubing is shown on my  web 
page. Thos eclamps are very sturdy and are adjustable.
  
  I use Dacron line for my guys. If you use Dacron you must use at least  one 
size larger than you would expect to prevent stretching. I learned  that the 
hard way.
  
  Baling twine is real good for short term applications but can be a  problem 
for long term. It seems to start breaking down from UV after  about two years 
in the sun here in the WA desert. Other environmnets  may be different. I use 
baling twine for all my temp and short term  projects, Dacron for stuff i don't 
want to worry about.
