I am going to TI5KD's station for CQWW CW and hope to spend some time
outside the contest on 160m. In the past the station has been an aligator on
160. I plan to erect a K9AY pennant to suplement the 2 two wire beverages.
Unfortuantely the beverages are too short to be of much use on 160. The one
to US is only about 100ft and the EU one is 200 ft. There just isn't room to
put up anything longer. I am hoping the the K9AY loop will help pull some
more signals out of the noise. Outside the contest look for TI5/N0KE. I plan
to do mainly 15m as TI5X in CQWW. K0AV will be TI5N on 40m and K0AV as TI5A
on 20.
I do plan to spend some time on 160 in the CQWW once 15 goes to sleep.
Possible calls are TI1Z, TI1W and TE1W. I will stay down and travel and then
be back on the air on 160 when I go back for the ARRL 10m. I return home on
13 Dec. I won't have E mail at the station and will unsubscribe from Topband
for the duration. Look for me on other bands and I can QSY to 160. In the
past I've tried a lot of sunrises looking for JA with very little luck. I
think I've had no more than 3 days with JA propagation in all my trips. I
will get occasional E mail but don't expect a promt response for a skedule
request. E mail to this adr.
