Re K5PC's research on the DX Engineering rx 4-square, I'm curious how it
reacts to nearby 160-meter resonant verticals. The only precaution I
could find on their Web site was that the 4-square should be at least
1/2-wave from the tx antenna otherwise something in their boxes might
blow.
I feel that, in additon to their precaution, any resonant tx vertical
should be detuned during rx periods to prevent in-band signals received
on the tx antenna being re-radiated into the 4-square (which would
degrade the 4-square's directional qualities).
