Good Afternoon,
I have tried the K9AY loop and was amazed with it's performance. However
changing the configuration into a rectangle will fit better in my lot better.
Making it 32 feet long and 8 feet high.
When I made the transformer I followed the wrong information and interwound the
secondary with the primary winding. I was told to change it, primary on one
side and opposite side of the toroid the secondary.
Does anyone have any comments about the rectangle type loop and the transformer.
The last two evenings I heard more DX on the loop than I could imagine. Also
heard Europe even before sunset.
