Articles such as this appear from time to time in the Trade Journals, and
are usually associated with a media blitz by someone to gain personal
recognition, either in academic or trade circles. I remember well the Wayne
Overbeck quagi "invention" that set the electronic journal media agog at
the time. I think ARRL even fell for the hoopla. This, too shall pass, as
they say, and will soon be forgotten.
