Yes but no. Having a dedicated DX window in effect during a contest,
especially on 160, is a good thing. Imagine trying to pull out those weak EU
sigs while domestic big guns are all around you; and nobody moves away from
each other so that their outer-most edges of their wide bandwidth are not on
top of another!
I say keep the window convention, on both 80 & 160; I personally use them to my
