Topband: Source for radial wire?

I have had success visiting the scrap metal yards and occasionally find
reels of wire which is sold by the pound. A real bargain when you can find
it. I've even seen but not purchased large spools of mig welding wire which
is strong and small and probably just perfect for radials.
