Hello Tom (AE9B),

I can't say if this is a bad year for Topband, as I've only been on for =
three months now (with a 650W amp for only 6 weeks of that). I hope =
you're right about this being one of the worst years, as it can only get =
better!=20

I'm located about 500 miles North of you, so propagation should be =
roughly the same, except for more auroral zone effects. The K =3D 0 =
conditions last night were superb & I worked JH2FXK to complete WAC. =
This was country # 54, so keep the faith!

I put up a pair of inverted L's using a slingshot, snowshoes, and a =
sledgehammer, and am using OLD equipment, so it's possible low budget. =
...Persistence =20

73 & Good DX

Brian K8BHZ Gwinn, MI (where we have received 280+" of snow & it's =
still coming!)
