Gentlemen,
I can work California, Oregon and Washington states SSB on 160 meters
faily consistently from this NJ qth. My dipole is only at 40 ft.
Disregarding the low dipole, on what propagation mode are these contacts
most likely being made?
Is this 160m ducting that I have heard about, or some other mode.
Signals are rather weak but usually readable. I have also done
this with Washington state and Oregon state. What do you think?
