I've just moved to a location where I have a 600m
long field at the bottom of my garden and I'd be grateful
for some advice about the erection of a beverage.
Unfortunately the farmer grows winter wheat so I
don't envisage being able to string a wire up across
the main body of the field.
I'm considering two possible methods of construction
which are as follows,
1. Laying a wire on top of the hedge on the edge of the
field,
2. Normal construction on the field edge between the crop
and the hedge.
Option 1 offers ease of construction and would be less
prone to damage but I'm not sure how well it would work
and how the hedge might affect the antennas performance?
All advice would be gratefully received.
Many Thanks
