Got home from work just in time to work FO0EEN (Austral Is.) on 1826 at
0657z (not a new one). 579 on West Beverage.
Called a few CQs and NL7Z popped in at 0721z. Kevin was weak but band was
super quiet. Peaked on West Beverage (500 ft) rather than NW.
After a few hours sleep, back for another SWLing session with the JAs.
Had added a dozen full-size radials toward JA yesterday afternoon but
apparently not enough! (Running 900W out to 100-ft vertical, top-loaded and
small linear-loading at base; series fed).
JH0BBE was first in at 1130z, 569; JA5DQH, 559, at 1141z; JA0MVW, 559, at
1150z; JA1HQT, 569 at 1158z; JA3ONB, 579 at 1208z. JA5DQH was last one
heard, right at sunrise, 1214z. All peaked on the NW Beverage (500 ft).
Did work KL7Y on 1836 at 1147z. Dan was 579 then, peaking on the NW
Beverage, but I couldn't copy him a few minutes earlier when he answered my
CQ on 1834 (tnx Tom for the QSP!).
Not a whisper here from 9V1PC nor RA0FA.
