On Conway Reef in '95, Mats would not allow me to get on 160 until 40m
died--nominally due to having lost some of our gear and having to make
some hard choices. This was always after VE1ZZ sunrise, and Jack never
had a shot. I hope this not again the case--as far as we know, no gear
has been lost.
