I've never yet found a Beverage that plays tricks, unless it's a conspiracy
between my Beverages and my phased dipoles (at 250 feet) and my four
square, and my phasing system that phases all the antennas together joins
in the prank.

Because of signal skewing that is common on 160, I think it is virtually
impossible to say without a large element of uncertainty a QSO is longpath,
but I'm absolutely positive Beverages don't play near as many jokes on us
as the software that tries to model non-homogenous media (i.e.. dirt or the
ionosphere).
