Phil is located on the island of Irian Jaya. The other half of the
island is Papua New Guinea, so he is quite far east compared to other YB
stations. Phil's location is: South 4 degrees and 24.31 seconds, East
136 degrees and 52.10 seconds. 30 foot from these co-ordinates is the
160 meter antenna, an inverted L hung from tall bamboo trees. His QTH
is quite high in elevation, several thousand feet above sea level, and
very little man-made noise but plenty of equatorial thunderstorms.
