Well I am still working on a tower match, now dawn at abt 60' level, but
its getting better. After reading up on gamma matches and doing some
re-scaling I think it will fall at the 47-55 ft' level. But in the
meantime I'd like to get on during the cqww.
Question: How close can you be to the tower to feed a inverted l.My lower
guy wires are at abt 45' level, they are insulated from tower and at the
ends, and they are 60' long.It would be very easy to feed all 3 wires as a
top loaded L...But,with having the feeder abt 18 inches from the tower
cause a effect not desired?? I suppose I can use a tuner and open feeder
to the L..Any experiances on this appreciated..73 es hope all had a good
turkey day and looking forward to working all in the arrl 160 in a few
weeks..73 ,John KO5D
